Zebramodels can not work with stick-thin models. Our clients do not need thin
models. Young girls and women goes to the clothes show every year to be inspired
by the latest looks and it is there-fore vital that we ensure the messges we
are sending them are the right ones. Girls do not need to be a size 00 to make
it as a model and, to prove it.
| In evry magazine you seem to see celebs who are fake and plastic when
it comes to their appearence. From plastic surgery to lipo suction, nose
jobs to tummy tucks...all of them have more or less had something done!
Being nearly 18, I have never been majorly infuenced by changing much about
myself. Obviosuly we all have our parts which we would want to change, however
I think natuaral is best! I see many young girls my age thriving to be something
they see on TV rather then loving their beautiful selves for what and who
they are. I want to be a model, so that I can show that you dont have to
be a "size 0" to be something amazing. I want to show normal girls
with aspiratiosn and dreams that they can acheive them and that they should

| Daniel Stent I'm 21 years old and live in Surrey. I would love to become a model because, being a musician, I respect the work that goes in to producing an art and love the tremendous satisfaction you can get from a good result. Everyday we see pictures of models on literally every product, advertisement, billboard and commodity we use, modelling has such a strong influence on people and I would love to be a part of that World. I am currently finishing my Degree in Music Technology at London College of Music and Media which shows that I have drive and ambition. I am enthusiastic, reliable and a good team player. I have been involved in stage perfomances and shows, where I found my love for performing which I believe has a strong correlation with Modelling. I am aware that the Modelling Industry (much like the Music Industry) is a tough World to be involved in, but thanks to my up-bringing in Performance and Showcasing, I am no stranger to tough environments.! | Michaela Hardy I went to London yesterday for a photo shoot with a friend, and was totaly taken aback by it all, the whole experience was amazing and it is definatly something that i would throw my self into. it seemed to come naturally to me and although it was myfirst shoot i needed little direction. The pics turned out really well and many people have commented on them and suggested i thought about madeling. i have e-mailed you the pictures that i had taken. many thanks Michaela. |
| I use't to love looking at my mother's magazines, the girls on the cover
are so glamerous and pretty! i want to be just like them. on television
years ago i saw the programme "make me a super model" and that
is what made me sure on what i wanted to be! But what really caught my eye
was Catwalk modeling! i use't to (and still do) practise the walk where
ever i go; around the swimming pool, in town, at resturants, at my house
and my friends. it looks so elegant and amazing! the idea of having hundreds
of people watching me and taking my photo facinates me! sometimes i want
to be a different person and by being a model i would be able to do that
because for a photo shoot or a catwalk show i would have to act like someone
else and that comes easily to me anyways.
Even though i know i would have to work so hard and wont have any free time, i still want to do it, even more then you can ever imagine. I know for sertain that i would be able to cope as i have confidence, self-reliance and the stamina to cope with long, tiring days and hectic atmospheres. I can remain calm under pressure and have a pleasant easy going personality for working with other models, photographers, designers and so on. This is alittle bit about me: i am 16 years old (8th December 1990), i am 5ft 9in slim (size 6-8) and toned! i have light brown hair and dark brown eyes! I have been pointed out to look abit like Mischa Barton off the O.C if you wanted to picture me better! I am going to stop here because i can go on for days on end explaining why! but i hope you can now see why this caree is so important to me and how much i want it to happen! please please consider me in becoming one of your models! i would NOT let you down! please ask to see me before you make any real decitions you are going to make! When i was 12 i took part in a fashion show and enjyoyed it so much since
then i dreamed i could be one of the girls that i stare at and admire.
My pasion has never died and i would walk around my house and school as
if it was a cat walk, in all my photo's i pose and love every minute of
the camara being on me. I've always been proud of my body and very confident.
Ive put on all sorts of clothes, even if there not my style I look amazing
and I'm glad that I was blessed with a body that suits everything. My
face is unique and I'm always really bubbly and open about anything and
everything. Only now has my mum and her partner took my dream a step further
and took me to london for a portfolio shoot at the studio, I was told
that if they didn't think I was good enough and didn't stand a chance
that they would tell me, I was ready for what ever thay had to throw at
me. To my suprise they told me that I was one of the best people they
